Salesforce Developer

JOB DUTIES: Design, code, and implement various Salesforce applications. Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform creating custom applications, integrating third-party platforms and applications, and troubleshooting technical issues. Capture and translate client business needs into effective solutions within Salesforce. Manage and customize the technical side of Salesforce instance. Work with functional consultants and client stakeholders to capture, analyze, and scope client requirements. Work with a project manager or lead consultant to develop and communicate a realistic deliverable timeline. Work with testing teams for any system and user acceptance tests. Assess technical project performance and participate in retrospectives. Test the stability and functionality of the customized solution or application. Provide technical training for the internal team. Remote work permitted.

 

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

 

LOCATION: Ventas Consulting, LLC, Five Cowboys Way, Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034

 

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Information Studies, Computer Information Systems or a closely-related field and two (2) years of experience as a Salesforce Developer writing APEX code.

 

Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:

 

  • Utilizing JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
  • Custom development in Salesforce.com including the API
  • Completion of several Salesforce implementations or enhancements in a technical role
  • Salesforce certifications such as Sales or Service Cloud, Admin, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer 1
  • SFDC architectural concepts
