A World of Salesforce Happenings
There’s almost always a Salesforce Happening somewhere near you! And our recommendation is to go to as many as you have time for. The community is very supportive and it’s great to hang out with like minded folks. Most obviously, Salesforce User Groups. Larger cities usually have several groups–Admins, Nonprofits, Developers, Marketers, Women in Tech and more. If you want one in your city and there isn’t one–create one.
Coming up soon (May 11-12th in Austin, TX) is Texas Dreamin’. There’ll be Salesforce MVPs and gurus teaching and holding court. Classes, sessions, networking, Salesforce Partners, keynotes and fun. It’s like a mini-Dreamforce–a place to feed your Salesforce fanaticism! And Austin is almost as cool as San Francisco!

Texas Dreamin’ is one of a series of regional dreamin’ events. The granddaddy of them all is Midwest Dreamin’ held in August in Chicago. There’s even a site for those who love Dreamin’ Events. Where are you travelling this summer? Go where there’s a Dreamin’ event!! Even Wales, France, Madrid, India!
Then come home to the biggest Dream of all–Dreamforce! They’ll be opening registration soon. They’ve moved back to their earlier format–Monday through Thursday, happening November 6-9. You can even sign up to be notified when registration begins. It’s never too early to start that plan–Get registered, get plane tickets, get lodging, get time off if you need it! After U2 last year, we wonder who will wow us at the Gala. What big 1-1-1 Project will they create? How will they fit us all into that wonderland of techness!
Once you get into the Salesforce communities, be on the lookout for myriad, random opportunities to learn. Webinars, pop-up events, user groups merging to study something cool. We can imagine a time when you could travel the world year ‘round attending Salesforce conferences, World Tours and Dreamin’ events. We’ll see you at one of these Salesforce Happenings!!
